And correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm don't remember them ever promising that the localizations would be immediately available at launch. Waiting months for a localization for a fully voice-acted game, especially by a relatively small indie developer that didn't plan to have those localization from the get-go, is not really that long at all. It is advertized as such but so was Dreamfall Chapters. To be honest I am not even sure if THIS game will support German from release. I would agree to your point if they had not continued to advertize the game as a game supporting multiple languages while this wasn't the case mnost of the time.

Won't be buying it at launch since I still have to finish the othersbut the visual and setting are already intriguing me.Īnother off topic note, to all black metalhead, here's a band a friend of mine used to sing in : Draugen It's not the point of the thread but I'd be curious if you could elaborate as to why you think of the game the way you do.Īs for the game, Draugen, itself, I'm always glad to see new releases. Something to do with religion, if I remember correctly. I have not played Dreamfall Chapters yet but heard that some controversies were present around launch. It is a shame really, because the game had a great potential, and graphically it is very pleasant (with the exception of caricture-like characters they decided, for some reason, to feature in the game). If they decided it is ok to treat me like an uneducated fool, I think it is ok, if I skip their productions too. Awful plot built around trying to influence my world view (clearly included in such a way, like with the idealist Marxist friend plot). The Draugen is based on Draugr, an undead creature from Norse mythology.Lubwak: Come on, really? After Dreamfall: Chapters I know I do not want to support the company. The Draugen is considered undead and thus is affected by the salve amulet.

Before he is found, he takes the form of a grey Butterfly with the examine text of "Flutter by oh butterfly", although note there are multiple of these butterflies, and only one of which is the The Draugen. A common strategy to find it quickly is by waiting in a specific location until it is nearby, usually by the river. After a while it will teleport far from its last location, which gives the player the message in their chatbox "The Draugen has moved elsewhere.". Depending on where it is found, it may be lured behind a tree stump and safespotted. In order to fight the Draugen you must use your Hunter's talisman on the correct tile for him to appear. It will periodically move around, where it can be anywhere from the river leading to Rellekka by the Council workman spanning all the way east, and in the forest area east of Rellekka. This works very much like a Runecraft talisman, telling the player in which direction to travel to find the Draugen. It can only be found by using a Hunters' talisman given by Sigli. The Draugen is a monster encountered during The Fremennik Trials quest that must be defeated in order to gain council member Sigli's vote.
