My PS4 games run at exactly the same speed as people who bought the disk and its been this way for years.Īll PS4 games just download and install as if you bought them on the store. I've subbed 2 years and I don't even know what a stream looks like as I would have no use for it. PS now has had over 300 ps4 downloadable games for years. Rather than find out what psnow is, you thought you'd just rely on rumour? "PSnow is a laggy experience on older games no offense but that’s just the general take on the service."

Fri 8th Apr many others you seem to speak with no experience at all.But I’m loving the healthy competition between the 2 and think there’s a lot of value in both for the right type of gamer. So I am actually excited to see some older exclusive PS titles hit the service and I will subscribe for at least 1 year, but in its current state which they didn’t go into great detail about, i will tire of the retro games and lose value in it quicker than GP. PS consoles much as Nintendo consoles are both my exclusive machines only. MySpace existed before Facebook the functionality ends there. They may share similarities in the a way or two, but are built on very different tech and Reachability.

Vs GP is downloadable games that run native and current games alongside cloud and PC. PSnow is a laggy experience on older games no offense but that’s just the general take on the service. I don’t see a service like GP borrowing much from PSnow. Heck even Nintendo is behind a paywall for online. But that’s a lot of money for both to do and I don’t see it happening. I really wish Sony would add free cloud saves like Xbox and also wish the paywalls to play online for both would go away.

I won’t be buying much on PS5 except exclusives and outside of God of War none will i buy at full price. So it seems like a miss and one that i think they may double back to and show they were wrong down the line. But they have the games that would keep players in and a user base size that would support it and the other half that would still buy the games. The problem is all companies in all media types know it takes time and money to see subscription service make returns and Sony don’t want to dip into that. Which is fine, but then who’s this service really for? During a few months when xbox had no games coming out and sony had GT7 and HFW and Tokyo Ghost, they could have netted huge subscriptions. The famous i didn’t buy a PS5 to play old games. Something in the beginning of the gen that many sony fans claimed they didn’t even want. Thu 7th Apr i just find Sony’s Spartacus answer to GP lackluster for anyone thats not a hardcore retro player.Alongside this newly-announced project, Remedy is also developing Alan Wake II.Īre you interested in these remakes?
